Additive-enabled mountain bike shoes and hype sneakers

Hi Prusaprinters,

Wanted to share this project I've been working on since 2017. It's called Last - the first bike shoe from LES ORIGINAL tourist equipment (formerly called the N+ bike shoe platform #nplusplatform)

It's a mostly printed (except the carbon core - made in a printed mold, and textile uppers) performance bike shoe that is walkable but pedals nicely all day, ideal for bikepackers, tourists and commuters.

Even though it's on in years, there's still only 1 size modeled up. I'm working on a fairly significant redesign of the shoe that should make it a little more practical and accessible.

Give it some love over here

Hope you enjoy!

Very cool, I checked the files, and I do not see how the hinge mechanism works.

And what is the USB thing for?

@gonper

Not sure what hinge you're referring to. It's just TPU and the carbon shank doesn't run the full length. This allows the tow to articulate when walking.

The USB is a part of the concept that's a bit extra and not necessary thanks to the internet - it's a bar end for bike handlebars which was holding a set of the files.

I've been riding my fat bike in winter hiking boots, and it's not very comfortable. I usually stick to the core five.

Normally, I have ten free riders and have a great degree of control over them.

Now, I'm not sending it all over the place since I'm accident prone and careful (I'm also now recovering from surgery after dislocating my shoulder due to a non-pedal related OTB incident), but I don't feel like my feet are falling off the pedals unless I force them to.

I also get a lot more power cycling with them, not as much as with clipless (I only ride those on the road), but much more than with non-riding shoes.

You know that a decent pair of motocross boots can protect you in an accident if you ride a dirt bike.

Very well done. You did a great job. Skate shoes, or other sneakers, despite being flat-soled, are not particularly well suited to riding mountain bikes. These shoes are great, The support of my current Mountain Bike shoe is very stiff and perfect for riding with, and the grip is amazing.

Hey, you are doing a good job. Despite having flat soles, skate shoes or other sneakers are not the best choices for riding mountain bikes. Also, it to much comfortable for bike riding. we like this because its grip is too much strong it helps in the mountain that we are not slipped in any slipping area.
