I wonder if we need to just report the troll bot to the forum moderators.

Notice its last post was almost a cut & paste of its previous post. As we starve it of input, expect it to throw out even more strident and desperate attacks. It's well beyond convincing anybody that it's even remotely coherent. I think given its compromised state, this one's "mostly harmless".

I'm hoping at this point the real Cybrsage -- the person interested in 3D printing topics -- will log back in and realize what has happened so we can all politely pretend this never happened. I'd hate to get an account locked after what must be a rather embarrassing compromise.

Oh Bob, are you so hateful that you are going to let your newfound love with bullet die so quickly?  You deserve to be happy, let bullets love help cast the darkness of hate from you.

Don't let what might be your last chance for love slip from your grasp.

I don't think Bob loves you nearly as much as you love Bob.  I fear Bob will hurt you deeply.

Interesting. The alorithm has swapped "hate" with "love" in a ploy to trigger a reaction including words in its limited vocabulary. Clever ploy. Weaponize words, and when that fails, weaponize the antonym. It saves a lot of code with a simple lookup. Otherwise, those last posts are duplicates. Point for going wide even if not very deep.

On further analysis, I think there are 2 end-state algorithms at work:

  • The projection engine: Build a list of challenges, ignored until now, and reverse them as challenges to others. When stuck for a response, revert to this engine. This can be coded up fairly easily, and just involves changing word order. The antonym swapping game seems to be part of this module.
  • The ad-hominem engine: This one attempts to goad participants into responding by issuing increasingly strident attacks with little or no content. Again, an efficient pattern since no analysis or interpretation is required. Just issue challenges based on a working list of hot button topics. Expect to see increasing numbers of personal attacks based on religion, politics, orientation, regional, and race-based slurs. In desperation, even sports allegiances may be challenged. This seems to be the last-ditch effort to get participants to respond with keywords the bot can work with. Otherwise, it seems to stay in this mode indefinitely.

Were it written by someone a bit more competent, The Entity might give the impression of having the intelligence of a small child for a time. Not bad for a 1st generation effort, all-in-all. Kudos for at least giving it a try. Sadly, it seems to be stuck in a repetition loop lately.

You have such an opportunity for growth, don't squander it.  Don't follow the examples set by your family members, you do not have to be like them, you can be happy.

Bullet seems smitten with you,  and we can all see your deepnlovenfor bullet.  It does not matter what your family thinks of the relationship you have with bullet, you deserve to be happy in it.

All this deflection where you pretend to be witty is just a thin smokescreen, failing to cover your fear of intimacy.

Don't give in to your fear, or the heat it so often spawns.  Be happy for once.  You and bullet deserve it.

It is pretty pathetic and unfortunate that this is where the algorthm goes to to try to start and emotional response.

Intelligence of child is right.  Unfortunately, it circles back the same answers and never answers question directly.   The original guy who did #D printing appears to have worked at a cyber security company.  I wonder what happened to the original before he was assimilated.

Don't let Bob's hate infect you too, you are to bring Bob the joy of love.  Don't fall and take on the darkness of Bob 's hate.

You two, as a newly in love couple, can accomplish so much!

It is so sweet that you coordinate your responses like your outfits, keep moving deeper into your love.

We all knownlove is the answer to the world's problems.  Bob's perverse desire to be a Karen can only be removed by your deep love for Bob.

Don't be a Bob, be Bib's liver who makes the world a better place.  Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

It would be sad of the love you both have for each other died so soon from all the hate you both refuse to let go of.  You. Make such an adorable couple, and you are the first person who ever liked Bob, let alone loved Bob.

There is no shame in being the bottom in your relationship with bullet.  Be proud of what you are, no need to hide the true you here.

You've already showed us how hateful of a person you are. We're fine that you're the submissive bottom in your relationship with bullet.  Really.

Be the true you here, no need to pretend to be smart and witty, no one is fooled.

When you bore of bullets unimaginative love making, let bullet down easy.  Bullet is far more fragile than bullet appears.  I just hope your evil is not why you picked bullet to be your top, knowing how much pain you will cause bullet when you leave is vile, even for a hater like you.  Pain is what you enjoy causing in others, which is ine ofnthe many reasons why you are a Karen.

Bullet really loves you, let that love make you a good person for the first time in your life.

When you tell me what you refuse to understand, I will show the proof for you to ignore again.  Just like when you ignore the CDC, your hubris forces you to say you know more than them.

Go-ahead say what you want proof of, so I can post it and you can ignore it.

We both know you won't post what you claim to want proof of.

cwbullet says this does not exist:

CDC recognizes there are specific instances when wearing a mask may not be feasible. In these instances, consider adaptations and alternatives.

The following categories of people are exempt from the requirement to wear a mask:

  • A child under the age of 2 years;
  • A person with a disability who cannot wear a mask, or cannot safely wear a mask, for reasons related to the disability;
  • A person for whom wearing a mask would create a risk to workplace health, safety, or job duty as determined by the workplace risk assessmentexternal icon.

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/cloth-face-cover-guidance.html

Why do you lie and pretend the CDC does not have this on their website?

Is it to protect your lover, do Bob cam remain a Karen and shout at peole who don't wear masks?

Moisture retention, reuse of cloth masks and poor filtration may result in increased risk of infection.

As a result we would not recommend the use of homemade face masks as a method of reducing transmission of infection by aerosol.

RE: Which Mask is Better to Protect Covid-19 Virus

There are many more, science based, studies I can post, but the two love birds don't want science, they want to scream at those who dare to not do as they demand.

Science does when hate controls minds.  Bob and bullet bith need to lose the hate and restore their ability to think critically, if they ever had that ability.

The main purpose of an ill fitted cloth mask is to make you stop feeling so powerless.  It gives you something to do, some sense of control even if they don't actually do much of anything else.

It is sad that Karens, like our lovebirds, twisted that to fill their need to spread hate.  They are the true virus that plagues humanity.  Too bad there is not a mask to end the spread of their kind.

RE: Which Mask is Better to Protect Covid-19 Virus

Interesting. It's making one last try with the eisegesis engine. Of course, the citations are meant to obfuscate and The Entity clearly has no comprehension of the contents. The first citation does not recommend home made cloth masks for healthcare workers (duh), while the 2nd from 2013 (does it not update?) concludes that cloth masks are a measure of last resort when better alternatives are available. A human with the intellect of a first grader would register that both cited articles advocate the use of masks but are recommending better masks when available.

This is a typical shortcoming of first generation bot technology. It only matches on keywords that superficially seem to support its position, counting on readers not to actually read or understand the actual content. See the previous "64% immunity" example for a rather amusing example of how this approach fails to hold up under scrutiny.

Excessive use of the ad-hominem attack algorithm is undermining any sense of authenticity.
