Visor material

I am having trouble finding a suitable material to use for the visor here in the US. What materials are usable? All I am finding are really thin 0.1mm sheets that are probably too flimsy to use. The ones that I do find are going to take over a month to get here or are overpriced for the quantity ($20 for 3 sheets???)

We placed an order with Profressional Plastics 2 weeks ago.  They keep promising to deliver it, but it's always another week out each time we call them.

Thicker shields are ideal, but I'm told many organizations -- particularly those that aren't 1st tier hospitals -- are thrilled at getting shields made with 10 mil transparency material. If they have nothing, anything is appreciated. I am keeping in mind the hope that these will all ultimately get thrown away without being used as proper PPE becomes available, but these are a possible stopgap.

RE: Visor material

I used A4 sized Self Laminating Cards, as recommended on the community visor assembly page. Thickness seems to be fine and they are easy to attach, however, they are not really clear. When wearing the visor, it is like looking through a dirty window.

Any idea how to fix that?
