Might be late to the party here but I was also using the cricut for the shields on the prusa RC3 and i used the design off prusa into the cricut software and then used the setting for bass wood 1/16 and let it run 9 of the passes before removing it. I was using sheets of 400 micro acetate.

Thanks!  I finally realized it was much easier and faster to use a 3-hole punch for both the top and bottom of the transparencies/binder covers.  Then I just use scissors to round the edges.  I like the 3-hole chin piece better anyway!  Super easy.  Happy printing!
