So much going wrong at once...

So bought 3 printers after being sold on their solid workhorse printer spiel.

Assembled one to tinker with the settings etc to ensure I can ease out issues as they appear.

Even printed a couple of things.

Only the quality is awful, there's lots of stringing everywhere and that's when I can get it to print properly.

Currently trying to tweak temperatures to reducing stringing but...

The skirt is also refusing to stick to the bed despite the print doing so perfectly well, instead the skirt knocks itself off by curling slowly upwards, or simply refusing to bind to the heated bed to begin with, then incorporating itself into the print which in turn ruins the print. If I "delete" the skirt, it just adds it to the actual print, so instead balls itself up around the extruder and.... ruins the print.

I've tried moving the hot end upwards as reccomended to reduce the stringing issue, but it simply refuses to budge upwards by much, and I can still see clear brass and not just the screw thread.

Is there actually a way out of this, or have I been sold a rushed out lemon?

Newer problems!

Just to add to my tale of woe, it's warming itself up, wiping the printer head ready to print, and then just randomly spooling itself up and around the print head. Despite it being cleaned and then wiped!
