New Prusa Mini+ cannot unload filament

Hi all,

I’ve assembled my prusa mini+ and at first it was difficult to,load filament, but it finally did.

The first print appeared to work well after calibration, but then I started noticing extrusion errors.

I purged the filament and this seemed to work. I tried unloading the filament, but it will not unload.

I’ve removed the Bowden tube above the print head to confirm the filament has been removed from the hot end.

When I try to unload, the wheel spins, but squeaks. I tried assisting it by pulling on the filament, but it is stuck fast.

Has anybody got any ideas on how I can fix this?

I fixed the issue, I undid the Bowden tube and loaded the filament to pushed it back in, I did this a few times and found that the new filament had a big chunk carved out of it.  The filament was also snapped, I cut off the bad part and then the mini unloaded the filament.

im not going to try anything tonight until I can get a small hex key to fix the under extrusion issue.
