Layer Sep or Underextrusion? Brand New Mini+

Printing Atomic PETG at 245C on the textured sheet using a Prusa Mini+ that was assembled 3 days ago. I did “pre-emptively” push the heatbreak up in an attempt to avoid any PTFE seating issues after I assembled.

Left: stock extruder. Right: Bondtech extruder. Both using the Prusament PETG prusaslicer profile but at 245C instead of 250C. Both extruders show the same issue, which looks like layer separation (?). Note that I’ve printed half a spool of this filament on my Mk3S+ at the exact same temperature (245C)/profile with perfect results.

Any ideas?

It could be both or either one.  I would try another brand of filament and see if you still get it.

Hello @david-15,

Your issue with the layer separation looks similar to one of my issues as well.

Tonight I'm going to conduct some extrusion tests using this tool,

If you do find out what your problem is, please let me know and I'll gladly do the same.

Thanks,

JAIPI
