Heating Failed E1

I did one print successfully on my new Mini, soon after the second print started I got the "Heating Failed E1" error screen. All subsequent attempts fail in the same way, the hotend is cold to the touch, it's definitely not heating.

I measured the resistance on the hotend heater and it is open circuit. I thought I heard a strange noise from the hotend, which may be a coincidence, but may have the heater going pop.

I guess the heater is a standard 12V type? I think I have a spare somewhere.

Must say I was hoping to get more than one print out of it 🙁

Eshop says 24V for Mini, I don;t have one of those spare. Over to support I guess.

Bad luck that, especially after waiting for it but any component can fail unexpectedly. Hopefully support will sort you out quickly!

Support were excellent! Much better than trying to extract support for one of those cheap printers off ebay. A replacement heater is on its way.

The quality of the first print was excellent, and the ease of setup very impressive.
