First print underside problems

Hi,

one of my first prints with the mini is this connector ,that I printed the photographed side down

on the bed with supports, but the areas not being directly on the bed are very stringy, I use

colorfabb Petg economy black, any idea how to tweak the settings?

cheers from cologne

Any bridging layer, including steep overhangs, looks like this on the bottom.  Although supported so that it does not sag it is not possible to press down the layer to squish it into place.  Unless you are able to use soluble supports your best plan is to try different orientations.  Is it possible to print the part the other way up?
